Where We've Been
CLN illustrator Mike Wohnoutka was honored for his illustrations in Jack's House by the Society of Illustrator's Original Art Show in New York on October 16th. At left are the architects of Jack's House, Karen Magnuson Beil (author), Mary Cash
(editor, Holiday House) and Mike Wohnoutka (illustrator). Mike said, "To see my artwork on the same walls as some of my favorite illustrators like David Shannon, Loren Long, Adam Rex, Shel Silverstein, just to name a few, was such an honor."

Judy Blundell has written works-for-hire for many years and many publishers. Scholastic Press published the first book with Ms. Blundell credied as the author, What I Saw and How I Lied. Find Great Stories in Cheerios Boxes
Derek Anderson's book Romeo and Lou Blast Off is one of five titles included in this fall's Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories program, in partnership with Simon & Schuster. Through the First Book program and specially marked boxes of Cheerios, more than 5 million books will be given away, including 3 million printed in both English and Spanish.
