How Much is a Million? Chris Crutcher
Paul Bunyan Pinkerton, Behave!

Steven Kellogg celebrates his birthday on October 26th. He started "telling stories on paper" as a preschooler and has been at it ever since. He attended Rhode Island School of Design, majoring in Illustration. He published his first book in 1967 and now has nearly one hundred to his credit, including Can I Keep Him?, Johnny Appleseed, Paul Bunyan, and How Much is a Million? He lives in an old farmhouse in the hills of Connecticut with his wife, Carol, and a harlequin Great Dane named Pinkerton, whose stubborn unadaptability during puppyhood inspired the book Pinkerton, Behave! "There are limitless possibilities available to the artist, who sets up relationships and tensions between the illustrations and the text, allowing for magical discoveries and subtle revelations to emerge in the areas between."
